The World Airport Awards for 2019 have already given out the list for the Top 50 airports in the world. The ranking was decided on the answer of more than thirteen million travelers from all over the planet. This worldwide opinion was then put into a ranking and from there, the top 50 best airports in the world are chosen.

The one that got the best location in the ranking in Spain was Barajas with the 35th place. It made a lot better than previous year (came out in place 43rd in 2018). This is Spain´s main entrance and is a strategic point to catch a flight to any other exotic destination in Spain. Barcelona´s Airport didn´t make it up in the ranking but down in comparison with the previous year, coming down from position 42nd to 43rd. it might seem low, but it beat Xi´an and San Francisco in the way.
